LOGIN NAME AND PASSWORD
To add new stories of photos you have to require a login code.
Fill your name and emailaddress and a password will be send to your emailaddress in a minute. You will need your login name and password everytime you would like to add new stories. The use of a login is to protect the content on this website and to keep the information credible and reliable. Registration only takes
a minute.

With your login name and password you can add new stories and photos, you can valuate stories of other people and you can click on the profile of the author to send this person an email.

YOUR OWN PROFILE
Every contributor can make a profile. In this profile you can add a photo of yourself or your ship and as well
you can choose a screen name (for example the name of your ship). You can also write a little description of yourself, who your are, what's your sailing area, your experience and of course something about your ship.

SEARCH AND FIND SAILING AREAS AND MARINA INFORMATION
You don't need a login only to read stories. The way to find what you're looking for. First choose 'marinas' of 'cruising stories'. Then you will see left to the GoogleMap a menu. Choose below 'sea' an area. If you click on marinas, you can select a country and all marinas of which we have information. Now you can read the story.
If you click on the photos the automatically enlarge. Do you have additoninal information on a story, please send an email to our editors. Would you like to add a new story about the same marina, just add a new story.

HOW TO ADD NEW STORIES AND PHOTOS
When you would like to add a story, be very careful that you place it under the right area and country. This is very important! So first select the area and a country and marina. To add cruising stories you only choose the area. Create a simple and clear title to your story, so readers can see in a second what's your story about. Please first read some stories, before you add a new one yourself.

The main issue with crusing stories is to describe an area and marinas and anchorages in this area. And remarkeble things you have discovered. Of course it is nice to read about your experiences, but all details
of conversations with your crew and how drunk they all have been isn't very interesting for most readers.
Please try to describe your own experiences and for sure you can make it a thrilling and enjoyable piece. Before adding your own stroy, please read some others as an example.

If you would like to write about a marina which does not exist in the database, you can add this name yourself. Be sure that you choose the right area and country first. Then you can add the name of the marina under 'add new marina'. Finally save your new addtion.

When you have added and saved a story, you can upload photos to it. Click om photos and you can search for pictures on your computer. Select the right picture and then you can upload it.

Own experiences of sailors who 'have been there' are very interesting and can be very helpful to other sailors planning their next trip. So please write your stories and add them to this website.
